Many families in northern Thailand have AIDS. They often live under conditions that few can imagine.Widowed HIV-positive mothers alone with their children, grandmothers alone with their grandchildren - all of them are victims of AIDS - one way or another.

While their names and circumstances may vary, the typical story is one of a desperate struggle for necesseties such as food, clothes and medicine and the schooling their children require.

AIDS Care is trying to meet some of these needs.

We are visiting these families in their homes, trying to reach out with love and care, providing their needs in different ways.
